Spit Roasting & Hog Roast Catering

Hog Roasts and Spit Roasted Seasoned Pigs and Lambs are a great addition to any party catering and can become a real talking point at your event , we cater for corporate clients such as Manchester United and The England Rugby Team across the country from Scotland to London from our base in Warrington, Near Manchester. All our Spit Roasted Pigs are prepared on-site and served by our fantastic team chefs with apple sauce, stuffing and selection of freshly baked 5” bread rolls.

Hog Roast are often associated with summer, but we do many events during the winter months such Halloween, Bonfire Night and many Christmas Parties along with organised events for Manchester City Council.

All our Hogs are cooked fresh on-site for 6 hours by our qualified Chef who will also be on-hand to Serve and Carve for your Guests at a time to suit you, we can also provide additional Serving Staff if required to serve your guests with drinks or clear your tables.

What is a Hog Roast?

A hog roast is where the whole pig is cooked in giant roasting tray, and cooked for 5-6 hours, this
doesn’t effect the cooking of the pig but you lose the theatre of the pig cooking on the spit roast., many companies offer cheaper prices either cooking your pig away from the venue or offer you cooked joints of cooked pork, beware as this isn’t a hog roast and could provide health and hygiene issues.

What Is A Spit Roast?
A Spit Roast is where the pig had been clamped and legs braced to keep the pig secure on the giant steel pole through the pig, this takes specialist care and training to spit the 50kg pig before cooking, this is premium service but does offer a fantastic feature and theatre as our chefs carve the whole spit roasted pig on display to your guests.

Hog Roasts are ideal for catering form 50 – 1000 people; we can offer half roasted pigs or smaller pigs for numbers over 50 people at your events, for smaller numbers why not consider our Chefs Carvery menu option.
